(re)Loving Shred

We produce locally-made shredded material using textile waste that would otherwise end up in landfills or be sent overseas. Our goal is to find a way to use this textile waste to provide an eco-responsible stuffing option that promotes a circular economy by repurposing as much as possible. We offer a variety of shredded materials, mainly made of polyester or mixed fibres, and we will also offer a category of natural fibres.

This stuffing is an exceptional option for various craft projects and products. Its pliability and soft texture make it ideal for providing comfort and support while retaining its shape for extended periods. Additionally, it is easy to work with and can be customized to fit any project's specific needs.

Are you looking for a sustainable way for stuffing?

At GIRO, we are thrilled to offer you an outstanding alternative. Our Makerspace is home to a cutting-edge textile shredder adept at transforming waste textiles into high-quality, eco-friendly, recycled shreds. This innovative solution addresses the challenge of textile waste and promotes sustainability and environmental consciousness.

Due to damage, we are repurposing textiles that do not meet the standards for our ReLove Local products. We are actively reducing our environmental impact and contributing to a more sustainable future. This process involves meticulous sorting, shredding, and repurposing of the textiles, ensuring that no usable material goes to waste.
