The GIRO Makerspace

The GIRO Makerspace aims to provide a space for community connection and mentoring and to help find creative solutions to textile waste through collaboration and experimentation. We have a variety of drop-in & membership offerings for access to the stations and equipment in addition to ongoing workshops and classes.

Please note: from July 2nd to September 6th our summer hours for The Fibre Café and station rental/reservation are from noon to 2:30 pm (Wed/Sat).  From September 7th on, GIRO Makerspace will be switching to regular winter hours of 1:00-3:30 pm.

We offer a variety of ways for you to access the Makerspace facilities.
