Service Description

Create sculptural vessels with reclaimed textiles formed over vases or rocks [even simple forms made with cardboard and tape]. Each design evolves through the materials chosen and as stitching progresses. Simple, fun and challenging for all ages. Participants are asked to bring their own cast off or foraged materials/fabrics plus cotton and or linen embroidery threads in multiple colors, hand sewing needles, scissors and a thimble. NOTE: Supply kits are available for $15 from instructor [but not required] payable at the workshop [contains assorted linens, cottons and vintage ethnic fabrics, cotton Perle embroidery and regular DMC 6 strand embroidery threads & needles].
